The Lamco process is a green solution to the scarcity of bigger trees needed to make large dimension lumber. Our
unique patented process takes very dense SPF 2X4 & 2X6 lumber, uses an optical scanner and optimization software
to remove flaws while profiling the edges, laminates them into panels, cuts them into boards of exact needed width
up to 16”
and finger-joints the ends to obtain boards of exact lengths up to 32’.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

  • Relam-LFS® values are in most softwares of plate connector suppliers for
    wood trusses.
  • Made with a structural adhesive that meets ASTM D2559, with excellent
    resistance to heat and moisture.
  • Holes or notches using criteria for solid sawn lumber per NDS and as substantiated
    by engineering calculations verified by a registered professional
    engineer using the criteria for solid sawn lumber.
  • LAMCO RELAM-LFS® products bearing the PFS mark are listed by the PFS
    Corporation to ASTM D 5456-06 (Evaluation of Structural Composite Lumber
    Products as referenced in Model Codes) for use in modular buildings, HUD
    manufactured homes, and conventional site built construction. Refer to BCAR 1278-1.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

  • Store indoor or in covered areas, keep plastic tarp sealed until ready to
    install and use supports to keep the Relam-LFS® off the ground.

 

PRODUCT WARRANTY

Lamco Forest Products warrants that its RELAM-LFS is free from manufacturing errors and
defects in workmanship and materials. In addition, provided the product is correctly stored,
installed and used, the company warrants the adequacy of its design for the normal and
expected life of the structure.
